The Maine Fiber Company has begun a data gathering process to identify "Community Anchor Institutions" as candidates for subsidized connectivity to the Three Ring Binder. Such institutions may download the questionnaire in MS Word or PDF format.
Maine Fiber Company was formed to oversee the construction, maintenance and leasing of a 1,100- mile, high capacity fiber-optic network in the state of Maine. Also known as the Three Ring Binder, the network is to be built with a combination of public and private funding.
